Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Taylor is a famous American actress and producer famous for the roles she was in Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist and the television show The Mentalist. She completed a Bachelors of Arts in African-American Studies at Brown University and also a Master of Fine Arts in Acting at the Tisch School for the Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis works as a writer as well as an actress in theater, film and television. She started her career in the theater before appearing in numerous television shows and in mainstream and independent film. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico and was a part of BET's epic series The Book of Negroes for which she not only received an acclaim from critics, but also won many awards and nominations including the Television Critics Choice Award nomination for the Best Actress in a Film. In 1995, she was the first actress to make her debut with The Tempest as Ariel. She has performed as a character on Broadway as a part of Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. In her film career she's most popular for parts like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. The role she played as a regular in ABC's drama detective series High Incident earned her praises.
