Tom SelleckAmerican actor Thomas William Selleck. His most well-known role was that of Thomas Magnum, a private investigator in the television series Magnum, P.I. He was nominated for five Emmy Awards as Outstanding Lead Actor in the Drama Series (1980-1988), and won the Emmy Award in 1985. From 2010 until the year 2010, Selleck has played New York City Police Chief Frank Reagan. In nine television movies that are based on the Robert B.
